At Valiant Lifecare, trust is central to the way we deliver healthcare coding and administrative support services. This portal explains the safeguards, governance practices, and responsible data-handling principles that support our commitment to security, confidentiality, and compliance.
Valiant Lifecare protects client information through a combination of administrative, technical, and organizational controls. We design our processes to support confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and secure handling of healthcare-related information throughout the service lifecycle.

Kept only as required
Access to client information is limited to authorized personnel who require it for legitimate service delivery, support, quality assurance, or compliance purposes. We apply role-based access practices, authorization workflows, and account review procedures where applicable.
Team members, contractors, and authorized personnel follow confidentiality obligations and security-awareness practices. Access is restricted by business need and may be monitored or reviewed for compliance.
Secure data exchange. Use secure communication and file-transfer methods for sensitive information. Avoid sending protected, confidential, or regulated information through unsecured channels unless explicitly approved under the applicable engagement process.
Procedures to identify, assess, escalate, investigate, and respond to suspected security or privacy incidents. Where required by law, contract, or client agreement, we notify affected parties within relevant timelines.
Where third-party tools, hosting providers, or service vendors are used, we evaluate appropriate security and business requirements before use, and limit third-party access by service need and contract.
We reduce operational disruption through reasonable continuity practices, backup considerations, secure access procedures, and service recovery planning. Commitments vary by service agreement.
Depending on the engagement, Valiant Lifecare may support client requirements related to healthcare privacy, coding compliance, payer documentation, confidentiality, data protection, and information security. Specific obligations should be documented in the applicable contract, business associate agreement, data processing agreement, or service-level agreement.
Client responsibilities. Ensure information shared with us is authorized, accurate, necessary for the service, and transmitted through approved channels. Remove unnecessary sensitive information where possible and maintain your own compliance, access-control, documentation, and payer-submission obligations.
Clients, partners, and authorized prospects may request additional information about our security practices, questionnaires, compliance documentation, or vendor review materials by contacting our Security Team at incidence@vlms-global.com. Requests may require validation of business purpose, authorization, and a non-disclosure agreement.
